My heart for destination weddings started because I was once a destination bride myself. When my husband and I chose to get married in Glacier National Park in 2024, I wanted a wedding day that felt intentional—surrounded by the people closest to us without feeling like the entire day had to revolve around a checklist of wedding traditions. I wanted to experience the day with everyone around me, not spend it worrying about what I was “supposed” to do next.
Looking back, what I treasure most is how that day felt and the photographs that allow us to experience it all over again. That’s what I want for my couples. I hear brides say far too often, “I wish we would’ve just eloped,” and every time, it reminds me why I’m so passionate about helping couples create a wedding day that actually feels like them. Weddings are an investment, and I believe that investment should go toward an experience you’ll remember forever—not traditions you’re including simply because they’re expected.
A wedding day should be what you want it to be. An elopement should feel like the dream day you’ve always imagined. Whether that’s hiking into the mountains, bringing your closest family members along, exchanging vows somewhere tropical, or creating an entire destination celebration, I want you to walk away feeling completely fulfilled by the way you chose to get married.

One of the biggest things I remember about planning my own destination wedding was how many questions come with getting married somewhere you don’t live. Where should we stay? Which airport should we fly into? Where exactly should we have the ceremony? What time gives us the best light? Do we need a permit? How crowded will it be? What happens if it rains?
That’s why my job starts long before I pick up my camera.
When a couple comes to me unsure of where to begin, one of the first things I ask is, “What are you envisioning, and why did you choose this place?” From there, we build around what matters to you.
I help my destination couples with location recommendations, ceremony locations based on their vision and guest count, permits and park information, vendor recommendations, airport and lodging options (including the pros and cons!), things to do during their trip, hiking and trail guidance, timelines, travel time between locations, weather plans, crowd considerations, and honestly—just about anything you want to ask me.
My goal is for you to feel like you have someone in your corner who knows where you’re going, what questions need to be asked, and what we need to plan for.
More Than Your Photographer
I believe destination wedding photography is about documenting the entire experience, not simply arriving at a beautiful location for a ceremony. My photography is a combination of intentional direction and genuine moments. I love beautiful portraits, but I also know that telling someone to “just be candid” can sometimes make them feel even more awkward. I’ll give you prompts, guide you into flattering positions, and create opportunities for the natural interactions to happen. If something isn’t working or doesn’t feel like you, we’ll change it. I never want my couples to feel uncomfortable or wonder what they’re supposed to be doing.
By the time your wedding arrives, we’ve spent months planning, texting, talking, and getting to know each other. When you book me, you’re not just hiring someone to show up with a camera. You’re getting a planner, researcher, location scout, travel guide, hype woman, problem solver, trail buddy—and, if you’ll let me, your best friend for the next few months.

One of my brides told me that one of her biggest wishes for her trip was to see a black bear or grizzly bear. Later, while we were traveling to our next location, we spotted a bear along the road. I remembered what she had told me, grabbed my camera, and documented it. That photograph became part of her wedding gallery because that moment was part of her story, too.
